Benefits of the Redpoint Auto Belay Descender:

•  Decrease staff to participant ratios reduces the operation costs. One staff member can easily operate three or four auto belay stations.

•  Instructors keep their hands free in order to assist participants and climbers.

•  Climbers can enjoy solo climbing while using the  Auto Belay Descender. No need for a belay partner.

•  The Redpoint Descender uses high strength flat webbing and industrial rated steel carabiners.

•  Each Auto Belay unit is professionally manufactured by MSA/Rose a company with over 40 years of experience in the design and manufacture of fall protection equipment.

•  Each Redpoint Descender is a self contained auto belay. One unit for each climber, instead of the central mechanics used in other auto belay systems.

•  Each auto belay unit only requires simple annual maintenance consisting of removing one unit at a time and sending it in for recalibrating. Sending one unit at a time allows you to continue using your other Redpoint Descender Auto Belay Units.

•  Typical Installation of the auto belay consists of attaching the unit to where a typical a top-rope belay would be used.

•  Once the climber has reached their goal or lost their grip, the Redpoint Descender is lowered to the ground in a controlled descent.
